Leeds & Grenville is home to many groups and associations that represent peoples of distinct ethnic and religious backgrounds, from all over the world. These groups meet regularly for group social activities, to share and celebrate their cultural heritage, and to speak their common language. Joining one of these groups can help you make valuable connections in your new community, and the friends you will meet will be great guides for helping you adapt to your new life.

Brockville and District Multicultural Council

These groups come together to form the Brockville and District Multicultural Council.This not-for-profit Council meets regularly, and is responsible for hosting the area’s annual Multicultural Festival. Nearby Ethnocultural Groups

If there isn`t an ethnocultural group representing your background in Leeds & Grenville, you can develop your own group or join one of the groups located in our neighbour cities. Ottawa and Kingston have a large number of groups and associations that honour various cultures and traditions. Both cities are only about an hour drive from Leeds & Grenville.
