|Leeds & Grenville is home to several excellent public libraries. At these libraries, books, magazines, audio CDs, and DVD movies can be borrowed for free. Many offer free computer and internet access and there are community groups and programs at our local libraries, including story readings, arts and crafts, art exhibits and events. To borrow items from libraries, you will need to get a library card. Each library has different rules on how to obtain a library card. National Library of Canada is a source of enduring knowledge and acts as the continuing memory of the government of Canada and its institutions. Its collection spans the entire history of Canada, and has materials in all media from all parts of the country, as well as items of Canadian interest from outside the country.
